(RFID) RADIO FREQUENCY INDENTIFICATION

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Technology, when implemented in a controlled inventory environment, helps track product and assign activity to specific operators without any operator actions for recording the transaction.

By the operator entering the storage area and retrieving RFID labeled product, his ID is scanned and the items he retrieved are scanned and registered to that operator. Upon return of these items the process is reversed, automatically, without the operator accessing the computer.

BAR CODING AND SCANNING

Inventory control systems are capable of alternative inputs such as bar coding and scanning of product information. This can help reduce the possibility of operator error during data input and also streamline the parts verification function available in some software programs.

Integrated RFID and Automated Storage Systems

Integration of Automated Vertical Storage Systems, Bar-coding or RFID Systems enhance and improve inventory controls and picking operations. Integration can be accomplished both through standalone operations and full integrated WMS operations.
